LOCAL NETWORK 360° STREAMING: IMMERSIVE TRANSMISSION FROM TWO OPERATING ROOMS WITH DEDICATED CAMERAS

Two Reality has developed an innovative 360 streaming system in virtual reality, taking the immersive experience to a new level. Our latest project, realized in 4K resolution, has demonstrated the effectiveness of this technology in the medical field.

We created an advanced local network, connecting two 360° cameras located in different operating rooms to transmit content in real time. Thanks to a live audio and video guidance system, more than 80 nurses and surgeons were able to live immersively the experience of a gastroscopy, as if they were present in the operating room.

To ensure maximum fluidity and quality of the experience, we connected viewers with Oculus viewers through a high-speed gigabit network. In addition, we developed custom management software, optimizing the connection to the streaming server and managing the entire system with the support of StudioVisio and VisualPro360.

Streaming 360: A complex technology with enormous potential

Live 360° broadcasting is a complex technical challenge, which goes beyond the simple production of a 360° video. Unlike other projects, such as the one for Europa FM, this experience allowed us to optimize the distribution of content on the server, significantly improving the efficiency of the system.

We are now ready to scale the technology and apply it to larger events, making 360° streaming an ideal solution for:
