The Oculus Rift recreates a 3D stereo view with great depth. Unlike 3D technologies adapted to televisions, the images displayed to each eye are different. Among the features of the device are the inclusion of motion control in the viewfinder, arm and hand movement recognition and higher resolution for more powerful PC devices for content management.

Oculus Rift uses custom tracking technology, which provides low-latency 360° head tracking. The field of view is well defined and the head movements recreate a very natural and intuitive immersive virtual experience. The field of view is more than 90° horizontally and 110° diagonally.
